SoCKIT evaluation kit features Altera SoCs
Adding to its portfolio of development tools, Arrow Electronics has announced the availability of the SoCKIT evaluation kit.
The platform features an Altera Cyclone V SoC, which integrates a dual core ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore processor within the fabric of a 28nm fpga.
Todd Koelling, senior manager of SoC product marketing at Altera, said: "Altera SoCs offer embedded developers a superior architecture that delivers greater system performance, excellent device protection, more design flexibility, supported by highly optimised, industry standard development tools.
"Embedded developers using the Arrow SoCKIT will be able to quickly evaluate and experience firsthand the improvements an Altera SoC solution will bring to their system."
